The scent is majestic and elegant with its blend of Wild Fig and aromatic fresh green Tea Leaves. Confident and stimulating Io Capri is a scent with spirit.Carthusia fragrances originated from the old monastery on the beautiful island of Capri. The monks found age-old formulas that were revived in the 'Carthusia' laboratory and developed into the current fragrance collection. Legend has it that the scents existed far before 1948 when the formulas were discovered and as far back as 1380 when the monks began to discover the amazing fragrances of the many unique flowers on the island. Today the perfumes are kept to limited production runs to ensure the same methods and essences can be employed. This is especially true of the rosemary essence for men and carnation essence for women, both of which grow wild on the island and remain a key to the uniqueness of Carthusia scents.Liberty is currently only able to deliver fragrance orders within the UK (excluding the Channel Islands) due to safety regulations.
